Mike provides accounting, tax and consulting services to clients across the manufacturing, wholesale and retail, construction, healthcare, real estate and service industries. As a Principal in the Tax Department at Tronconi Segarra & Associates, his areas of expertise include corporate and partnership taxation, multistate tax matters, mergers and acquisitions, high-net-worth individuals and cost segregation. 

A particular focus of Mike’s practice is cost segregation. He leads engagements from the initial assessment through final delivery, performing and reviewing studies for commercial and residential properties. He also advises clients on whether cost segregation is appropriate for their circumstances and provides related tax planning designed to maximize deductions, reduce tax liabilities and improve cash flow. Mike is also a resource for depreciation matters, multistate tax compliance and other complex tax issues. 

Mike joined Tronconi Segarra & Associates in 2014, the same year he began his professional career. Originally from Williamsville, he now lives in Pendleton with his wife, Sarah, and their three children, London, Mason and Aubrey. Outside of work, he enjoys sports, ATV riding, boating and spending time outdoors.
