Since 1985, Tronconi Segarra & Associates has had the privilege of helping businesses, organizations, benefit plans, public-sector entities, and individuals navigate important financial and business decisions. 

Over time, the firm has grown from a 10-person Certified Public Accounting practice into a multidisciplinary firm with capabilities across accounting, audit and attest, tax, cross border business services, sales & use tax compliance and consulting, outsourced accounting, M&A/transaction services, and general consulting and advisory services. 

Through every stage of that growth, our focus has remained the same: understand what matters to our clients, provide thoughtful guidance, and be a resource they can rely on.

Growing Alongside Our Clients

Much of our history can be told through the milestones of the clients we have served. 

Our professionals have been there as clients bought and sold businesses, expanded facilities, opened new locations, grew their teams, prepared the next generation to lead, and entered new markets. 

As their needs expanded, so did our service offerings in order to be a full-service firm able to serve their needs both directly and through strategic partnerships with other professional service firms such as attorneys, wealth managers, benefits management companies and more. Our firm growth has included adding additional professional capabilities, growing our team organically, and completing strategic acquisitions that brought additional professionals, clients, and expertise to the firm. Along the way, the firm continued to evolve under the leadership of Jim Segarra, who became Managing Partner in 2005 and today serves as CEO.

A lot has changed over the years, but our approach to client relationships has remained grounded in the same principles: quality, integrity, responsiveness, and personal service. 

We believe strong client partnerships start with listening. By understanding what matters to our clients, the challenges they face, and the goals they are working toward, we can bring the right people and perspectives to the table. 

Our partners and senior professionals take a hands-on approach, combining their significant experience with proactive communication and year-round accessibility. It is an approach that has supported our growth and helped us partner with thousands of clients across Western New York and beyond.

Tronconi Segarra & Associates is proud to call Western New York home. 

From our offices in Williamsville and Lockport, nearly 130 partners and associates, including 70 Certified Public Accountants, serve clients across a wide range of industries and needs. 

As the firm has grown, we have worked to preserve the accessibility and responsiveness our clients value. We believe strong relationships are built by being available, staying connected, and understanding the communities and businesses we serve.
