Teresa E. Ellefson

Teresa specializes in state and local tax services, with a focus on sales and use tax audits, tax implementation, and nexus studies and registrations. Her experience includes indirect tax matters across the aviation, oil and gas, and construction industries. She brings an industry perspective to her work, shaped by years of experience as an Indirect Tax Manager and partnering with multiple firms throughout her career. 

With a professional career dating to 1997, Teresa joined Tronconi Segarra & Associates in 2026 as a Senior Manager in SALT Services. Her approach to client service centers on developing a tailored strategy based on the circumstances at hand. Her longstanding focus on indirect tax continues to guide her work with clients today. 

Raised in Minneapolis, Teresa now lives in Houston. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her three grandchildren, going to the beach, watching movies, and bowling. She can also play multiple musical instruments and has two children, a dog, and a cat.
