Alec J. Marotto, CPA/ABV

Alec’s practice at Tronconi Segarra & Associates is rooted in attest services, with a particular focus on labor unions and Taft-Hartley multiemployer benefit plan audits. As a Partner, he also serves single employer benefit plans, not-for-profit organizations, medical practices, and construction contractors. In addition to his attest work, Alec performs business valuations, including estate and gift tax valuations for succession planning and tax reporting purposes. 

After interning with Tronconi Segarra & Associates in 2008, Alec joined the firm full time in 2009 and progressed from Staff to Principal and ultimately Partner. His approach to client service centers on doing good work with genuine effort, attention, and care. That commitment has produced meaningful results, including helping a construction contractor save more than $400,000 through the review and reperformance of a payroll audit. 

Alec grew up in Clarence, New York. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, gardening, playing beer league soccer, and following the Bills and Sabres. He and his wife, Kelly, have two children, Demi and Mack.
