Andrew J. Toth, CPA

Andrew has built his practice around state and local tax matters and municipal accounting, serving businesses and local governments through a wide range of tax, accounting, and financial needs. At Tronconi Segarra & Associates, his state and local tax work includes sales tax compliance and consulting for multistate businesses in the manufacturing, construction, technology, and service industries. He also provides accounting and financial services to local municipalities, an area in which he has more than 35 years of experience. 

With a professional career dating back to 1980, Andrew joined Tronconi Segarra & Associates in 1996. His experience includes sales tax audit representation, nexus reviews, voluntary disclosure agreements, refund studies, and cross-border state and local tax consulting. His work has included reducing a sales tax audit assessment from $2.5 million to $60,000 and recovering more than $1.7 million in sales tax overpayments for a client. Andrew describes his approach simply: deliver high-quality service to every client. 

Outside of work, Andrew enjoys ice hockey, bicycling, hiking, travel, and history. He has also coached and refereed ice hockey, including coaching five New York State Championship youth hockey teams. Andrew and his wife, Jody, have been married for more than 40 years and have three children.
