Michael B. Dolan, CPA

Michael advises closely held businesses and their owners on tax and general business matters, with experience spanning franchises, professional services, restaurants, retail, not-for-profit organizations, and real estate. His practice includes tax planning and compliance, financial analytics, accounting best practices, and business acquisitions and divestitures. He has particular experience advising retail franchisees throughout the business lifecycle, from start-up and growth through maturity and exit planning. 

With a professional career dating to 1992, Michael gained early experience providing both audit and tax services before joining Tronconi Segarra & Associates in 1999. Today, he serves as Practice Area Leader of Client Accounting Services, a Partner in Tax, and a member of the firm’s Executive Leadership Team. He values direct client interaction and approaches his work with a focus on respect, continued learning, and hard work. 

Michael grew up in the Village of Hamburg and remains an avid Buffalo Bills fan, having held season tickets for more than 30 years. Outside of work, he enjoys golf and spending time with his wife, Jenn, their three children, Allison, Mary Kate, and Jack, and their dog, Rocket.
